What is it?

Fasching is the German equivalent of Mardi Gras.
The largest festival takes place in Cologne.
In Colonge it is know as Karneval.
At this
jolly-good- time parties, dances and balls, folks wear
fools caps and often also masks.
Parades sometime feature pegan characters.
Tis celebration dates back top the middle ages.
the clebration create ten times the fun as Oktoberfest for the young at heart.

November 11 and Ash Wednesday - the "Fifth Season of the Year."
